What you can expect when you get a massage at Body Balance II...

At Body Balance II, we tailor each massage to the individual client's needs.

We proudly say we never give the same massage twice. That's because your body has different needs this week than it will have next week. We take a complete history and update it each visit.

Each massage modality is different. Some are performed while you are fully clothed. With others, you will undress to your comfort level; the only part of your body that will be exposed is that part on which the therapist is working.

Your session will take place in a warm, quiet, softly-lit room. Soft music will help you relax. You will lie on a comfortable table under a sheet/blanket.

During the session, make yourself comfortable. Many just close their eyes and completely relax. Others like to talk during their sessions. The choice is yours. Feel free to ask questions and provide feedback on your comfort level. You are always in control.

After the massage your body will begin to shed toxins that were released from your tissues and lymph during the massage. It is important that you drink plenty of water to flush these impurities out of your system. A warm bath with a cup of Epsom salts or apple cider vinegar added will help you release even more toxins through the skin —your largest elimination organ— and will keep you from getting sore. You should feel a lot better within twenty-four hours, and most likely, you'll feel better immediately.
