| Tapestry Life Resources and Hickory Massage Therapy sell the wonderful healing balms and natural healing line made by Rod Jackson of Nuwati Herbals in the sacred Native American way. Rod calls his products "Natural Remedies from the Medicine Cabinet of Mother Earth." | |

Rod Jackson walks the Good Medicine Path. He has been making healing teas, balms, and other natural remedies for many years. Rod's Cherokee ancestors influenced this unique line of herbal products. When he was only five years old, his grandmother sent to gather herbs, roots, bark and leaves from which she made Medicine. Under her guidance, he learned to gather in the proper way, so that later generations would also have access to Mother Earth's healing gifts. Thus, he developed a special attachment to Nature and a reverence for all living things. Rod began to make balms and teas, which he sold in his own store. Then, he met marketing consultant Kimberly Stauder at a holistic expo. Together they began to sell Nuwati Herbals to a larger market. Rod makes Nuwati Herbals in the sacred way. Once he has strained the herbs used to create his healing balms from the oils, he returns them to the Earth in ceremony. The reverence that Rod holds for Mother Earth and all her gifts is continued through conscious attention to the Circle of Life.
