Quiet Days and Retreats
At Tapestry Life Resources, we recognize the need for quiet, reflective spaces in our lives. Our desire is to provide you with the space and structure so that your contemplative times can draw you nearer to Source. We also offer quiet days and retreats with more emphasis on healing and health.
A quiet day or retreat can nurture the body, heart, and mind and provide the space
that enables those who are searching for God to draw nearer to the Holy. Quiet days are generally one full day of meditations and silence, while retreats usually span two days to several days. Many successful events combine the two and span one evening and the morning of the following day.
Quiet days and retreats can be structured around a variety of topics, but they generally include periods of preparation, meditation exercises, periods of silence and reflection, and sharing. Depending on the length of the event, meals may be shared communally or silently.
